Spend your Saturday exploring our family’s farming heritage. It's a day designed to connect with our roots and enjoy the rural landscape.

9:45am: Discussion on Holden farming history in the area

10:30am: Morning tea

11am: Farm tour (approximately 1- 1.5 hours)

12:30pm: Picnic lunch provided by Poverty Bay Hunt Inc.

2pm: Farm tour (approximately 2 hours)

MORE INFO

Morning tea and lunch is included as well as non-alcoholic refreshments.

Farm tours will be guided and only suitable for 4WD vehicles, side-by-sides and 4-wheeler bikes.

Each farm tour has been thoughtfully designed to explore parts of the lands once connected to the Holden family, offering an opportunity to share stories, history and connections to the places that shaped our family. Farm tours are weather dependent.

We do recommend extra layers if attending the farm tours.

We hope the atmosphere to be relaxed and engaging, focusing on sharing family history and enjoying the farm experience.

FAMILY TREE HISTORY

We are currently building an updated version of the Gisborne Holden Family tree. A draft version will be available to view at the Saturday reunion event so any amendments can be made post event.

The final version will be available to purchase. You can order a copy at the reunion and it will be sent out once complete.

Any questions or comments in regard the family tree can be directed to Mary Briant.
